The Story
Sean Chase, a pro hockey enforcer with a broken neck, has fallen in love with Laura Haywood, a recently widowed mother of four. When Sean invites the family to his lakeside cottage — planning to propose — the daughters mistake his intentions. Snooping through their mother's phone, they find footage they don't understand and make a series of catastrophically wrong conclusions. What starts as childhood pranks escalates into a nihilistic gore-comedy that pushes the audience to the edge of what they're willing to laugh at. A pitch-black Canadian debut with a no-fucks-given attitude and a cast that commits 100% to the bit.
